"You indulge in these useless fantasies while failing your basic lessons!" his mother’s voice cut through the room like a blade, her finger pointed sharply at the kneeling boy. Otto bit his lip until it bled, his heart swelling with a silent, defiant pride for the ancient knightly blood that pulsed in his veins. He bowed his head, not in submission, but to hide the fire in his eyes, thinking, "You see only my failures, but I see a destiny greater than any lesson you could ever teach."

At age eight, Otto was sent to a harsh boarding school in Berlin by his mother . Every morning, a chaplain would kick open the door and strike the bedframes with a long sword to wake the boys. Otto endured the cold and the hunger, refusing to show any weakness. When an older student mocked him for his misty eyes, Otto stared him down and said, 'I am not crying. There is simply sand in my eyes.'

Otto was a student who challenged everything. Standing amidst a circle of skeptical classmates, thirteen-year-old Otto adjusted his collar and spoke with a cold, sharp clarity that silenced the room. He declared, his eyes flashing with a newfound intellectual fire. "Even if I am not a republican by heart, I have come to believe that a republic is the only rational form for this nation's future." His words hung in the air like a challenge, a bold testament to the skepticism that had become his sharpest weapon against the world he was born to lead.

'I intend to lead my nation one day,' he told his peers with a bold smile. Over three semesters, he fought twenty-five duels, earning scars but never showing fear. He was determined to prove he was stronger than death itself.

With her support, Otto finally stopped wandering and began to focus on his true future in the service of his country.

To win power, Otto had to win the hearts of the common people. He visited farmers and workers, wearing a forced smile while listening to their problems. Though he despised the faked kindness, he knew it was necessary for his goals. 'For Prussia, anything is worth it,' he told Johanna. Once the election was won, the mask fell, and he was ready to use his new power to change the world.

The storm was gathering, and Otto was ready to be the architect of a new, united Germany.
