In a cozy cottage near a great green forest lived a little girl named Elara. Her favorite place was just outside, where the trees began to grow tall and strong.

Elara’s favorite spot was under the old willow tree. Its long branches tickled the ground like soft green hair, and Elara loved to whisper all her secrets to it.

One afternoon, Elara felt very sad. Her favorite blue ball had rolled away and vanished! She sat by the willow tree with tears in her eyes, wishing it would return.

"Willow, willow, where did my blue ball go?" Elara whispered. She looked up into the rustling leaves, hoping the tree had seen where her treasure went.

Suddenly, the willow began to shimmer. A soft breeze swished through the branches, and a tiny, bright blue feather drifted down from high above.

The blue feather landed right on Elara's nose! It tickled so much that she couldn't help but giggle, her sadness completely forgotten.

Elara saw more blue feathers on the ground, forming a trail. She followed them deep into the woods, curious to see where the path would lead her.

The trail led to a secret, mossy clearing. There, nestled right beside a patch of bright wildflowers, was her favorite blue ball! Elara gasped with joy.

A friendly robin chirped from a nearby branch, puffing out its orange chest. It seemed to be cheering for her. Elara hugged her blue ball tight, feeling so happy.

Elara ran back to the willow and whispered a big "Thank you!" The tree rustled its leaves in a happy sigh. Elara knew her secret friend would always be there for her.
