Once upon a time, in a quiet village, lived a poor little girl who had very little. Her parents had passed away, and she had no home, no bed, and no one to care for her, only the simple clothes she wore and a small piece of bread.

One evening, feeling hungry and tired, she wandered into the forest. But the little girl was not afraid; the sky glowed with soft pink light, and birds sang among the branches.

Soon, she met a small boy crying sadly by the road. 'I’m so hungry,' he said. The kind little girl took out her only piece of bread and gave it to him with a gentle smile, saying, 'Here, take it. You need it more than I do.'

As she walked farther along a snowy path, she met another child trembling in the cold. 'I’m so cold,' the child whispered. The little girl gently took off her warm woolen cap and placed it on the child’s head.

Soon she met a barefoot child by an icy stream. 'My feet are freezing,' the child whispered. The little girl took off her own scuffed shoes and handed them over, even though her feet turned red in the snow.

Now she had only her thin dress left. As night fell in a moonlit clearing, another child appeared, trembling and cold. Without a word, the little girl took off her dress and gave it away too.

She stood alone beneath the vast, star-filled sky, now wearing nothing but her kind heart. The night was dark and cold, yet she felt no fear, only a deep sense of peace.

Suddenly, the countless stars above her began to sparkle brighter and brighter, twinkling with extraordinary light. Then they drifted down from the sky, softly like silver snowflakes, until they became shining coins all around her.

The girl looked down and gasped. She was now wearing a fine dress made of shimmering white linen that glowed like moonlight. At her bare feet lay piles of shining silver coins, the stars’ wonderful gift to her kind heart.

From that wondrous night on, she was never poor or hungry again, living a life filled with comfort and warmth. And people said that whenever a star shines especially bright, it is a reminder of the little girl who shared everything she had.
